Walking into L’Ermitage Beverly Hills Hotel, we noticed that its modern, understated elegance begins in the lobby, where stained glass window panels and cool neutrals create a calm oasis upon entry.

With plush velvet furniture and sleek metal accents, the hotel’s old-world Hollywood decor is both timeless and luxurious.

It is clear that accommodations are designed to be a true retreat from the busier areas of Los Angeles, and we found that the French balconies off every room make it easy to take in sunlit views of the city from a distance.

In this all-suite hotel, not only do all rooms have a dedicated sitting area, but many also have full dining rooms and table setups.

We saw some of the largest suites at L’Ermitage, which offer multiple balconies and spacious living areas for longer stays and a residential feel.

During our tour, we learned that some of the most loved features of L’Ermitage suites are the separate walk-in showers and soaking tubs, with marble, custom tilework, and state-of-the-art fixtures.

Chef’s kitchens come standard in the signature L’Ermitage suite, along with a private entrance.

Since a balcony is included with every suite, the quintessentially California concept of indoor-outdoor living is a big part of the property’s appeal.

We were impressed with the hotel’s view. Palm trees and a crown of greenery with a cityscape in the distance make up the property’s scenic outlooks.

Finishing our tour on top, we saw the rooftop pool at L’Ermitage. The pool is heated year-round and open only to hotel guests. Spacious cabanas are available by reservation, while lounge chairs are complimentary.
