The Bank of America Royal Caribbean® Visa Signature® Credit Card is a co-branded travel rewards card that earns MyCruise Points with the Royal Caribbean International cruise line. You can earn two points for every dollar spent with Royal Caribbean and sister brand Celebrity Cruises and one point for all other eligible purchases. Points redemption options include cruise vacations, upgrades and onboard credits to use at shops, restaurants, the spa or for excursions.
This card offers a 25,000-point sign-up bonus when you spend at least $1,000 or more on purchases within 90 days of opening your account. You can also get a $50 discount on Royal Caribbean’s Air2Sea program after you spend $3,500 within the first 90 days of opening an account. There’s no annual fee.
With no annual fee, the Bank of America Royal Caribbean® Visa Signature® Credit Card allows you to earn Royal Caribbean rewards without worrying about offsetting an annual fee. Earn two points for every dollar spent with Royal Caribbean and sister brand Celebrity Cruises. You’ll also earn the card’s 25,000-point sign-up bonus when spending $1,000 or more on purchases within 90 days of opening your account. The bonus is equivalent to a $250 onboard credit.
The Bank of America Royal Caribbean® Visa Signature® Credit Card can be a good choice if you frequently cruise with Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruises. You’ll earn two points for every dollar spent with Royal Caribbean and sister brand Celebrity Cruises and one point for all other eligible purchases.
While two points per dollar is an elevated earning rate, other cards may earn more than that on travel. For example, the no-annual-fee Chase Freedom Unlimited® earns 5% back on travel purchased through Chase Travel – that’s all travel, not just two specific cruise lines.
The Bank of America Royal Caribbean® Visa Signature® Credit Card lacks cruise line perks, which would be nice for a co-branded credit card. You won’t get any Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruises benefits like priority boarding, other than the ability to redeem points for cruise travel and related expenses.

The Bank of America Royal Caribbean® Visa Signature® Credit Card earns two points for every dollar spent with Royal Caribbean and sister brand Celebrity Cruises, so it makes sense to use this card when you book a cruise with those cruise lines. The 25,000-point sign-up bonus for spending $1,000 or more on purchases within 90 days of opening your account can be easily earned if you plan to book a vacation when you open the card.
Though rewards are easy to earn with this card, you have limited redemption options because you can only use your points with Royal Caribbean. Furthermore, your points expire after five years.
